Production Companies

Warp Films
Warp Films are an English based film making company. Launched in 2001 Warp Films is said to be paving the way for British independent film. Based in Sheffield, London and Melbourne. Warp Films have produced many different independent British films such as Richard Ayoade's ("The I.T. Crowd") film "Submarine" (2010) and "This is England" (2006) directed by Shane Meadows. Warp Films also produced the black comedy "Four Lions" directed by Chris Morris who won the BAFTA for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer.

Vertigo Films
Set up in 2002, Vertigo Films was founded with the sole intention to produce and distribute films. Vertigo Films have made many movies such as "London to Brighten"  (2006) which they distributed, and "The Business" (2005) when they were the production company.

Momentum Pictures
Based in London and founded in 2000, Momentum Pictures is also know as Alliance Films UK. Momentum Films won 8 BAFTAs in 2010 which was more than any other UK film distributor. They have distributed many films such as "The Kings Speech" "Youth in Revolt" and "Tamara Drew"


 Studio Canal
Studio Canal is a French based production and distribution company. Founded in 1988, it was originally focusing on French and European productions but later American Productions. Studio Canal has done many famous films such as "Pride and Prejudice" "Sleep Hollow" "Pulp Fiction" and "The Graduate" and in 2006 it bought UK-based distributor Optinmum Releasing.
