Audience Feedback on my final piece

For my final piece my film opening was viewed by another media class and this is the feedback I received.

Loved the music fitted really well. Love how you cut from scenes of Alex to scenes of dinner table shots of Vicki blowing out candle really effective.

Don’t understand the story far too many titles would be affective if not in black and white music good and fits nicely

I thought things were going to be red L I liked the toned down Cardigans song. And the bit where you couldn’t see anyone at the door.

Original idea. Black and white had impact (very melancholy) production company was a bit cheesy

Liked the neutral colours for the shots. However, there may have been too many titles. Other than that it was great J

Strong mise en scene, especially like lipstick on glass. Not too sure where it’s going, mysterious but effective. Cuts off as if abruptly overall good production

Sound good, story – killer assassin Love stalker? Nice shots and audio, storyline was a bit confusing, I liked the cut between the credits and shots

Didn’t think needed to go to black and white for titles, red titles over black and white not great

Love the song, the shot transitions are very effective. Final sequence is exceptionally effective and fits with the song, love it, great acting.

Really powerful opening, doesn't give too much away which is good. Only thing, didn't get why your film title was in French while everything else was English. Other than that I really liked it.

Liked the cut away photos and the prep and shots they go together really well. Music added a lot to the story some of the photos looked a little fake. Other than that it flowed together really well.

Good shot selection and framing (steady shots and flowing), nice titling. Good clear story - would want to watch the whole thing :) Love the music choice

Really effective, the music and black and white played off each other really well, and I found myself trying to interpret it all in my head and make meanings. The men being crossed out looks like it would hold great significance. Really enjoyed it. Only criticism - final shot might have been beneficial on a tripod. Really nice titles as well.

I like the ident, music works really well, works really well as an opening as I want to find out more. Editing works well, I like the fact that it doesn't give too much away. Well done.

Really good intro to what the film will be about. Liked the contrast with the red and black and white. Good choice of audio, high marks for sure.

Copyright free song?? - Went well anyway, were they your own images? Sudden ending though was good though

Don't really understand what it was about, but I think if it was a love film it was a really good idea and I liked the music.
