Evaluation - How does your media product represent particular social groups?

My film opening doesn’t focus on a particular social group, they main character in my film is a female who many interpret to be a killer, although some may interpret her to be circling the men’s faces as someone who was just eliminating them from their investigation. Whichever way you interpret the opening the social group is different; if she’s the killer then she’d be in a social group among criminals, if she was the investigator then it would be a police investigation, someone who upheld the law as opposed to someone who breaks it. My main character is from an upper class background, she is upper class this is shown through her demeanour and costume. The other character in my opening is in the social group of upper class as well, but when the idea of my film came to me I didn’t want the man to be from the same class as my leading female character. I wanted him to be from “new money” this is still from the same social group but not from the same class. That’s why the women targeted him.  My film also does not fit stereotypical social groups.
